David & Charles are well-known as publishers in their own right. Their Assisted Publishing offering offers something slightly different for the self-publishing author. Whilst there is no assistance in editorial or design matters, they will organise print runs on demand in a number of specified formats and use their worldwide distribution network to sell copies, in addition to those copies that the author takes.
