The Trustees of the Michael Sedgwick Memorial Trust are simultaneously delighted and mystified by receiving a substantial bequest in the will of Mr Bridges who passed away in February 2020. Any donation is very welcome to ensure that the Trust is able to pursue its purpose of assisting research and publication of history relating to vehicular transport, but this is the first occasion when the donor is someone not known to the Trustees. Despite the presence of Trustees who knew Michael Sedgwick and have been with the Trust since its inception in the 1980s, no one knows of Mr Bridges prior to receiving the advice of this legacy.
