The RGS Atalantas book by Alan Shattock has been nominated for the RAC Motoring Book of the Year 2019.
The MSMT has previously announced the publication of this new book which primarily focuses on the activities of Dick Shattock, an innovator in the 1950s including his early use of glassfibre and his sports racing cars and activities. Alan Shattock has chronicled his Father's activities in the motor and allied industries, his motorsport successes and the part he played in the nascent special building boom of the 1950s, all born out of his initial desire to build his own car and the acquisition of Atalanta to achieve that end.
